This little place has stepped up their ‘game’ with a smokehouse! We love the pork steaks! Will be back to try the ribs!
The potato salad is the best I’ve had in a long time. The breakfasts are well worth it! 5 out of 5!

Main Streets Country Corner Cafe offers a charming atmosphere with friendly and hardworking waitresses. Despite its small-town appearance, the restaurant boasts big-city flavor and a clean, spacious interior with two sides. The staff ensures excellent service, making sure customers are satisfied before leaving. It is a comfy place that is a popular spot for breakfast, serving great food like omelets and having a breakfast buffet. The coffee is fresh, and the cups are kept full. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and quick service. Many visitors have noted that the food is always delicious and reasonably priced, with attentive servers creating a homey atmosphere. The breakfast ham, spinach, and feta cheese omelet and hashbrowns are often praised for being perfectly prepared and tasty, with some saying they’ve never had hashbrowns with such a perfect crunch. The breakfast buffet is also a favorite. While everything is decent and fairly priced, some have mentioned that the fries and onion rings can be too greasy. Overall, this cafe remains a popular spot when in Salem, Missouri, especially after a river trip. The staff's friendly service and the quality of the food make it a highly recommended destination.
