It was an awesome experience. He was so knowledgeable, accomodating, and just overall superb! I highly recommend doing this class! It was a great Saturday afternoon date.“

“So..... this place is a hidden gem in Clayton. You gotta check out the High Bar up on the 11th floor of the AC Hotel, operated by Marriott. Everyone from the GM and manager to the wait staff and bartenders were extremely helpful, professional and on their 'A' game for the entire evening. They have a great bar with nice spacious booths, tables and a lounge area with leather sofas for seating. The entire hotel staff was amazing, including the front desk clerks and valet. Highly recommend.“

“Stayed up late and made a reservation a month in advance for my hubby‘s birthday and it was well worth it. Wright’s has a romantic & moody vibe, perfect for a date night. We started off with the crab cake which was by far the most delectable bite we had. An absolute must have! For our entrees, we chose the potato-crusted halibut and 14oz New York strip. The halibut was delicate in flavor, but the lemon beurre blanc sauce packed richness. Unfortunately the NY strip was disappointing. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, however the steak & crust itself was dry & tough. We would recommend future guests just stick with the seafood entree options, as they were absolutely delicious. The onions rings were good as is, but the tavern aioli made them great. The service we received was impeccable. Overall, we still had a 5 star experience at Wright’s and will be back!“

Ham sliders were good, slaw was able to be put on the side, though it was clear maraschino cherries were involved in the glaze and jalapeños were involved in the jam (not disclosed). The french dip was good, as were the fries, mac and cheese, and goat cheese appetizer. The pork porterhouse was just about the saltiest meal I have ever tasted. It tasted like it was brined, seasoned, and serves with salt while also being cooked on a salt block. It made it hardly edible and contaminated the mashed potatoes and carrots that were paired with it, making it difficult to enjoy the sides. The server took a European waiting style, slow and steady. Taking time to approach us, which we did not mind as much, though other tables seemed to get better attention. All staff were kind and helpful. Parking is a little tight. Overall a decent experience, despite the high price point, which overall does not match the aesthetics of the bistro style interior or the casual uniform of staff.“

“Purple Quarters is a must stop spot in The Grove. I can’t say enough good things about their craft cocktails. Not only do they have the classics, but their seasonal cocktail menu is always original and delicious.

If you want to go a little off the seasonal menu, try one of their Get Down menu options like the Foxy Cleopatra (cucumber vodka and great for summer) or the Mrs. White is a Floozy (tequila, grapefruit, and coconut cream).

“I drove down to the Boind’ry last night ( June 10, 2022 ) for drinks and dinner and a great time because it’s not only an after work businessman v bar but a mix of wealthy and not so wealthy clientele and sadly it was closed with 4 or 5 guys sitting in the bar talking who I am assuming we’re the owners.Come on guys do NOT shut Boundry down forever because I can tell you better that anyone what made your restaurant / bar the “it spot” for so many years and standing room only most nights in the bar….it was the super cool bartenders like Bruce doing magic tricks and all the other cool bartenders and attractive wait staff that poured great drinks and bartenders were all very entertaining!A bartender can either make or break a bar environment!Any problems of lost customers can be directly attributed to losing colorful charismatic bartenders so hire some great bartenders and open again and word will spread like wildfire and the line of crowds will be down the block again waiting to get in!Some restaurants have free hors d’oeuvres or shrimp or taco bar but none of that matters! What does matter is your bartenders!Years ago at TGI Friday on Ellison Place they had the best bartenders in town doing juggling tricks with bottles the bartenders nickname was Psycho! LolWonderful memories … same for Boundry!So stop obsessing over the menu and get the best bartenders and friendliest and funny and attractive bartenders possible and the Biundry will be the now “it spot” again for another 20 years!“
