We had a reunion there. We were placed on the bar patio area. It is a nice area but the chairs are extremely high. They should consider some lower tables in that area for older shorter people.
My family and I recently ate at The Mexican and had a fantastic experience. Tate was our server and a part of the reason we will be coming back, he was full of personality and made the experience feel warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken enchilada and it was very flavorful and everything came out in a speedy manor. Will be returning soon!
Second day in a row for two reasons…. the first tres leches that is perfectly moist and dressed with the fluffiest icing and berries. I was already full from my meal, but the dessert was so unbelievably good that you forgot you ate before. Secondly, the hospitality, walking in both days we were greeted warm smiles and were able to sit straight away! The Mexican STL offers a fantastic experience with outstanding food, atmosphere, and service. Guests have enjoyed meals like the chicken enchilada, which was very flavorful and came out speedy. The tres leches is perfectly moist and dressed with the fluffiest icing and berries. The lunch special is a 10/10. The hospitality stands out, with warm smiles and the ability to sit straight away. The restaurant manager made sure the experience was delightful, sociable, and made people feel seen and special. A server was full of personality and made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Another server was fantastic and took time with guests. The event coordinator did a fabulous job explaining options for the back room with the bar along the patio. The restaurant helped coordinate a last-minute reservation for a birthday dinner, with table choices, excellent customer service, and a delicious cake and candle with a taste of Anejo. Guests raved about the food, atmosphere, and service. The bar patio area is nice, though the chairs are extremely high. This place is highly recommended.
