“Great breakfast made fresh to order and just the way you like and for a great price. My personal fave are the scatter browns which is hash browns with bell peppers and onions...so good. They serve everyone at the same time which I love since I have a big family and if one gets served first, others complain so love their ideas. They remembered me when I went to breakfast with my family who live in the area, even though I moved from that area almost two years ago. Amber (our waitress) always has a smile and remembered what everyone likes and is very patient with even large tables. I used to go there all the time when I lived down there and have tried breakfast and lunch there and it didn't disappoint. If your looking for a great home cooked meal while passing through SWC... Go to the Southwestern Cafe!!!”

“Cute spot! Small town charm meets big flavor experience. We had the "blackberry cobbler" and the "FOTW" (flavor of the week which was something with almonds and coconut). These were seriously the best ice cream we have had in our lives! They have a cute little arcade in the back, and some interesting looking drinks. 10/10, will be back when we go for our next float trip!”

“WOW!!!! Torta de Barbacoa was DELICIOUS !!!! This restaurant is EXCELLENT!! It’s a hole in the wall, and needs the recognition it deserves. Food is authentic! I will certainly be back when I’m in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Oh and the green salsa, was probably the best green salsa I’ve ever had in a restaurant! It was spicy and had an excellent kick to it! If you like spicy, make sure to try the salsa!”
