“First off, this place looks like it is straight out of a Wes Anderson movie in an eclectic French bistro. The ambiance is so quaint and beautiful. Second, the lunch is amazing. So simple yet so delicious. A perfect size portion. I have had the Jambon Fromage and the Croutes aux Champignons. The ham sandwhich was perfect. Expect quality ingredients, very fresh and ate every bite. And the open-faced mushroom sandwhich was THE BEST thing I’ve ever had possibly. The mushrooms with the wine flavor and the perfect amount of cheese topping it. I can not express how much I have enjoyed eating here. I also had a bite of the Fromage Grille and it was certainly a top tier grilled cheese. Also the aïoli for dipping is exquisite. Please don’t stop serving lunch. We frequently will split and just add another side, saving overall with less leftovers. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and kindness even though we had three littles with us. They placed us in a corner table to make sure we had room for our kiddos. Upon being seated Rachel our waitress greeted us with a smile and kindness. We explained to her that we had dietary restrictions and she immediately went to the kitchen to verify what was safe for me. The bar is completely wide open to the outdoor patio, so the wind blows everyone’s cigarette/weed smoke from outside directly into the indoor seating area. Despite sitting in a literal cloud of second-hand smoke from the patio, I had a guy come up and tell me I couldn't vape. It was honestly one of the most impressively backward things I've experienced, like someone yelling at you for using a squirt gun while you’re both standing at the bottom of a waterfall. If the bar is designed to let the neighborhood's smoke drift right in, having someone police a little vapor feels like a weird power trip, especially when every other bar in the area is vape-friendly. I still recommend the place for the vibes, but that specific logic was pretty embarrassing to witness. Just a heads up if you're expecting common sense to apply to the 'vape police' here.“
