“This location has good food quality.Their technology for payment systems, microphones, speakers, and more is lacking a needed upgrade because it seems the service can't hear what we are saying, and keeps asking to repeat while having popping scratching audio. When finished giving an order the past 3 times we were not able to pay at the stall. Making someone walk away and out of sight with our debit/credit card to pay. This is a huge risk where we have no idea what they are doing with our card while they take forever to pay.Oreo shakes deserve to be consumed using the straw they provide you with. A super thin straw so the chunks of Oreo shouldn't be 10x the size of the opening for the straw. The trick is to crush the Oreos before blending the shake.“
“Typical late night order just before close. Yes I'm sorry I know most places don't like orders at the end of the nite. Case in point....
I ordered simple sonic cheeseburger, fries and a coke at the drive thru.
As always the employees that work there are always very nice and courteous.
The young lady handed me my order and I headed home. (didn't check the order)
I get home and the fries were not even subpar. They were so cold they were not even reheatable.
So I called and the manager was super nice and gave me a free meal for another day.
I wish other Restaurants had this kind of customer care. She just fixed it and that is why I gave 4 stars. I will stick to tater tots from here on out.“
“Sonic on Republic is by far the best in Springfield. I have not been there in a while and today. Savannah made sure my order was perfect. The food was fresh, and the fries were hot. I don't know if they recently changed French frie, but they were awesome.
Way to go, Sonic! My new favorite place to go.“
“5/5. Before my visit, I had a terrible guest experience at 701 w sunshine location and had to get a refund. But I was craving sonic. This location surpassed all expectations, I didn’t get the manager’s name (he had a Johnny Depp look going on) but from now on this Sonic is the only Sonic!“
“Great chili dog and crinkle fries. I wish they'd bring back diet Coke with lime juice. But it's nice to enjoy fresh air in the privacy of your car.
Parking: It's a drive in. GREAT
Wheelchair accessibility: You do not have to get out, curb service is fast, and ordering is easy on the speaker.“
“Update 2025, January: Food has improved a bit! Service is hit or miss, depending on the time of day or whatnot, but they're usually really polite carhops.
Old post, 2024: While they must not have had a car hop, they were polite about letting us know they were only taking online orders at the stalls or drive-thru orders. We just got drinks and they were great, as per usual!“
“Dietary restrictions: They are all well train in communicating with mild or extreme diagram restrictions and can accommodate accordingly or will at least inform you that they are not sure.... Which is better than some places that just go ahead and put it on there can someone have a serious allergy due to negligence or unwillingness to say I don't know
Parking: Plenty of parking and it is on the commercial and Grand exit or entryways
Kid-friendliness: They enjoy children as well as dogs I will make sure they get a treat as well
Wheelchair accessibility: They will come to you or if you wanted to use the new patio area that has just been redone and is amazing then you could park your wheelchair at one of the tables available“
“It's so nice to be in an area with decent Sonics again. I was in Jacksonville Florida for a few years and the Sonics there were so bad I didn't ever go. I have missed the slushes and the flavored teas! The locations here are so well run. They're clean, the staff is friendly, and they have giant play areas for the kids. We come to Sonic a lot now. ?
Kid-friendliness: Both locations on Sunshine have giant kids Play areas.“
“Came on Superbowl Sunday for a snack and a drink for my husband and I. We had been moving ALL weekend and were still unpacking boxes. Alexander needs a RAISE. He was running around, had a smile on his face and made a conversation. Food was hot, service was absolutely fantastic!“
