Subway in Springfield

“The experience at this subway restaurant was like most subways at lunch. Chaotic and out of order. They were understaffed for the time of day which led to unnecessary wait times. I understand that things slow down when they get busy but with a little help from management I think they could be the best subway in Springfield.“

“I ordered a ham and turkey on multigrain with spinach, pickle, green pepper, banana peppers, cucumber, mayo and pepper jack. She asked me twice what kind of cheese and still got it wrong. I got provolone instead of pepper jack. I haven't been to any subway in a few years. I was shocked at the price. $8.64 for a 6 inch.“

“Tiny yet cozy little location. The food was fresh and delicious. This former service station's garage was converted to a wonderful dining room full of natural lighting. Staff was polite, helpful, and courteous.

“I love this subway! This is a super clean place. Very efficient, and I enjoyed talking to the two ladies while making my order (separate days). Food is always on point, hot and fresh! The workers here are very helpful.

“This is one of the best Subway's in the Springfield and surrounding area. The food quality is good and consistent and their menu has a good selection of food and beverage items to choose from. Their prices are reasonable and they honor the monthly Subway mailbox coupons I receive. The staff is friendly and helpful and they recently upgraded their dine-in area. I've been a customer at this location for four years and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!“

“The girl that was working. Blonde with glasses around 2pm on Wednesday May 22nd. She was so sweet and helpful. I have allergies to mayonnaise (eggs) and always feel stupid having to ask them for a really clean knife (no residue) - sometimes people get frustrated and seem annoyed. She went above and beyond to get me what I needed and had a conversation with me while working and not even slowing down. I just wanted to say i typically hate Springfield, but she made me not hate it as much thanks to her in a little sandwich shop.“

“Everything was great. I was surprised, as my view of Subway had diminished over the years because I never went and watched YouTube videos about their downfall. However, I had a wonderful experience. Friendly people, good options, vegetables were wilted, soda was mixed correctly unlike some other places I've been to around town. Local classic rock on the radio even. No complaints.“

Parking: We were able to park just steps away from the store entrance.

“I am a regular at lunch time! The people during the lunch hour during the week are very with it and are quick and kind. Today I got dinner and the people were not great and only put two pieces of pepperoni on my 6 inch.. it was strange. I know everyone has a bad day but I just noticed a big difference in staff from the day shift to dinner shift employees.“

“I rarely ever rate 5-stars, but I did today because of the sole employee in the store. Dillon is a great worker, with an even tempered demeanor and a good sense of humor. In spite of being on by himself, Dillon didn't get rattled when it got a little busier than it should have been. He explained his situation without complaining about being on by himself. Customer service is typically a thankless job, but this guy represents the best Subway has to offer. Hopefully someone sees this and gives Dillon the recognition he deserves.“

“I tried the new Ghost pepper bread and it was amazing!!
They have the dine in baskets back, which I thought was pretty neat.
Always have great food and service at this location. One of the only ones I've found in town that still accepts paper coupons. Will definitely be back!“

“Shopping is exhausting and needing to ride a bus home, cooking is the last thing I feel like doing. It’s always great to have a nice footlong. I also love the new ghost pepper bread!
