Faith was our waitress and she was excellent!! The food couldn’t have been better except being from the south we know good grits and the grits were a little bit watery. Best breakfast to be had anywhere in Springfield, Missouri and every time we come, we will be asking for Faith to be our waitress!!!
Don't take me the wrong way. The food was good, the waitress was pleasant and served us well. I was just expecting something different. I was told that the place was really good. The biscuit was bigger than normal, that is good. This was our first time. Maybe another time. We were out of town eating at this place. I gave a good rating. Just wasn't exceptional.
The staff are terrific! I had a biscuit with sausage gravy and two scrambled eggs. To be honest the gravy tasted and looked like it was made with water instead of milk. It was very thin and gray. The menu says the eggs are cracked, but they tasted like food service scrambled eggs. They didn't look anything like my scrambled eggs when I make them. I still enjoyed breakfast, the coffee was pretty good. The grits were a bit soupy instead of being creamy so I guess the person...
