“This place is a hidden gem and absolutely great. Worth the trip to the strip mall. Bartenders are great. Beer selection and food options are also surprisingly awesome. Pinball and punk rawk for the win.

“Service was excellent, gentleman at the bar was very knowledgeable and friendly. food came super fast, we both got their signature breakfast sandwich wich was delish however for $13 i was shocked it was on regular bread. looked very basic for the price. i also felt like their drinks came in the smallest size cups for adults you had to get two maybe even 3 to make it through your meal and the refills arent free. overall, it was a good experience glad we went.“

“My husband and I come here all the time. It’s a 30 minute drive for us but it’s completely worth it. I had their seasonal gingerbread ice cream recently. It comes with a gingerbread cookie that’s made in house. Best gingerbread cookie I’ve ever had in my entire life.“

We do not live in St. Louis, but Diana made the planning very easy, giving lots of suggestions, and designating touch points. The amount of thought and kindness that Diana, Melissa, and Mark (and team) put into it really made the event that much more perfect! Our guests were very impressed by the variety of food available, and the seating and lighting were truly perfect for the mood of the event - cozy with love. I didn't have to stress about much, because the team had us covered. Thank you for such a wonderful experience for an emotional event!!“

“Me and my co workers came here when we visited St. Louis for a site visit. Loved the outside area, bet it’s nice in warmer weather. The beers were good, I had their Czech Pilsner. We also ordered a lot of food off the menu to share. Wish the pot pie had a little more salt but everything was still good!“

“This place is a vibe. It’s a lot of fun to play old arcade games ranging from pinball all the way up to Mario kart. It’s always busy when you go. The bouncers usually pretty nice. The service is mid. The bartenders are not super friendly or nice, but the drinks are very sweet and reasonably priced. The pizza is a highlight, forsure, after you have been drinking, it’s nice to be able to just grab a slice. They say they also offer full pizzas, but when we went, it was too busy so they were only serving slices. They exchange you tokens for money to play the games. We ended up walking out with a lot of extra tokens. it has a nice outside patio that has fire top tables and TVs outside as well as a bar and outdoor seating available. There’s a basement that has another bar and a bunch of games as well. The branding is on point, they even have merch available which is very cute. Overall would recommend, you don’t even have to come drink here, it’s fun enough with games alone!“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“Our October wedding at 2nd Shift Brewing was unforgettable! We had about 100 guests and everyone who attended raved about the great drinks and friendly bar staff. We rented out the venue from 5-10pm on Saturday night and the 2nd Shift team was so helpful in the planning process leading up to the event and setting up/executing the event on wedding day. We were so glad we chose 2nd Shift for our wedding and have no regrets!“

Amazing, eccentric brews that you won't find in other breweries IMO (I make it a point to visit most). Knowledgeable staff that will even give you their honest take other breweries nearby. If you want something to eat, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich is INCREDIBLE.“

“Been enjoying The Royale most weeks since 2015. Best bar and restaurant in town. A gem. Chill tavern vibes, DJs, local art, gorgeous courtyard, old movies, vinyl records, and a stellar menu. Owner Steve is the best. Get the fish tacos, a fresh margarita, a local beer, or whatever you’re into. Hell, I’m about to head there right now writing this review. I’m not even joking.“

“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. “I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“
