“Sawmill BBQ is located very close to our house, yet we’ve never tried it. Well, we just did the other evening, and LOVED it. Everything was bursting with flavor and the meat was beyond tender. Even the Cheeseburger was above average! All of the sides were devoured in minutes (green beans, fries, creamy coleslaw, garlic bread). Safe to say, we’d totally pick up from Sawmill again - or dine in (they have a large dining room, with live music sometimes I’ve heard!) :-)“

Because of how much we love this place, we decided to book a 70th birthday celebration here—and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The Chicken Tikka was truly to die for—perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor. The homemade chips were addicting, and the Caesar salad was so good you couldn’t stop eating it. Every dish shows just how top-notch the chef is, with food that’s consistently bold, vibrant, and full of flavor. The staff is absolutely amazing. Xander, the manager, goes above and beyond to ensure every event is flawless. His attention to detail and genuine care made the entire experience seamless. The owners themselves are involved, welcoming, and genuinely excited for your celebration, which says so much about the heart of this restaurant. I could've taken off a star because of the cheese sauce amount but I didn't out of good faith and hopes that handle bar management will increase cheese sauce portions .

“The pizza is phenomenal (the best I have had in a while) and the atmosphere is so relaxing and fun! The art on the walls and the decor is such amazing eye-candy. I can’t wait to have another slice and enjoy a relaxing meal and drinks! ✨“

“Probably the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. Nowhere else ever asks how you want it cooked. And the answer is medium rare. Our service was also very nice and attentive. We stopped in for the first time on the way to a concert and this will be one of our places we frequent in the city when we come up from home in Farmington. Only thing I would say is I would turn the lighting up just a tad. I know pubs are supposed to be a little dark and have a warm feeling but some people (me) don’t have great eyesight and I found it a bit difficult to see and read the menu. Never the less we enjoyed our food very much and will be in again soon. Hopefully more than once“

“Walking down Main St on a beautiful evening and the patio caught our eye. The "dungeon" basement is cool and the bartender was really sweet. Having a fire when it got a bit chilly was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for dinner soon.“

“My husband and I stopped in Saturday night. We are new to the area and someone referred us to check it out. We sat at the bar and the bartender's name was Ashley! She was so nice, gave us her favorites and recommendations. I tried the Elderberry Martini which was delish! My husband had the smoked Old Fashion. I love the great variety of the menu. And they offer a Gluten free menu. I wanted to try everything. We landed on the firecracker cauliflower appetizer which was amazing. For dinner we had the Cajun pasta and the Fish and chips. We will definitely be back for the great Happy Hour they offer during the week that Ashley went over with us too.“

“This bar has a limited menu of a really good deep dish pizza. It does take quite some time to cook a pizza that huge, so be prepared to wait 35 to 40 minutes for your order. When you enter the bar, you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you when it's ready.“

“I have been here 3 days after work. Even though new ownership. Lilly who is gorgeous has given top notch service and Bryan the chef has made nothing but superfood. So good I had eaten two sandwiches in a row. I had roast-beef and peppers and the frisco. Best sandwiches Ive had in a long time. The service is the best Ive had in years at this bar. Definitely looking forward to trying more of the new menu.“
