I want to recognize the manager of Charter 18 at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Amanda went above and beyond to locate and return an item I left in the dining area several weeks ago. She made it her personal mission to locate the item, take my info and text me when she located it. Amazing!!

Mario, Beth and Cassie were amazing! Easily one of the best margaritas I’ve had. Will ask for them again next time I’m in town.

Charter 18 Modern Tavern offers great food and excellent service in a nice atmosphere. The menu features fantastic options like buffalo chicken wings, flatbread pizza, and the Thai chicken wrap, described as excellent. Appetizers such as the crab dip, Colossal Pretzel, and the Asian Spring rolls, which are noted as the best, are very good. For main meals, the Sweet Heat Chicken is crispy, spicy hot and really good, and the massive Smoked pork chop has a great smoky taste. Their fries are also well-liked. The espresso martini is amazing. The staff, waiters, and chefs are the best, providing great customer service. Management is professional. The environment is outstanding, making it a place to recommend.
