Nice little place in downtown St Joe. I had the Tree Cloud (Hazy IPA).
I shall return.
It tastes like beer.
Abby is fantastic, can’t wait to come back and meet Eric! As a non-beer drinker I LOVED every single one
Nice little brewery! Beers were good and the owner was friendly.
Micro Brewery with Massive Character. Erik is an absolute Wizard with Beer, and Elizabeth is a master behind the bar.
1st Barrel should be your 1st stop in Saint Joseph, Mo.
I went with 2 people and have been here before and we all are over 24 and have real ids but refused to serve us and was talking to the only other guy in the bar ignoring us.
Small micro brewery with a good selection of beers. Freindly staff.
I’ve been to so many breweries and tried so many beers… 1st barrels is one of the best breweries I’ve ever been to. We love the atmosphere and all the unique beers. You must stop by here when you’re in st. Joe
Cool place. The service was great.
A great rotating stock of locally crafted brew.

Great beer, and always something interesting to try!
Uniquely brewed and batched beers that are perfect for any beer lover. The owner was welcoming and helpful in finding what I liked, and helped walk me through the flavors and styles of beer
Underrated and amazing. I've traveled the country to over 300 breweries and 1st Barrel is pretty cool. Heart of downtown St. Jo, my favorite thing is how many tables there are. Great for dates, meetings, and for me getting work done. Also a few lounge couches. Great beer too. Will definitely be back.
Cozy, relaxing atmosphere- very good beer. Nice selection
