Maybe the best chef wasn't there, but I didn't taste anything authentic here. I finally talked my wife into trying Cajun for the first time, and she will never go to Boudreaux's again. I may not get her to try Cajun food again. The cook on my wife's steak was two grades overdone. The etoufee was a poor attempt and half the portion it used to be in years past. Had the seafood saute and found the seafood to be properly cooked - which is always a plus for me. But I didn't care for the wine/garlic sauce. It was very thin and made the whole dish soup-like, complete with floating rice. The service was very good, though, and the atmosphere - at lunchtime - was congenial, with local workers obviously enjoying their meals. It's worth a visit.
