Baileys' Chocolate Bar Reviews
I really wanted to love this spot.
The cocktails were fantastic but the lemon tiramisu was just ok. —also they ran out of cream/milk so I couldnt put any in my coffee :(
It looks pretty inside but was painfully loud and we were right next to the door so my chair was hit repeatedly but since its so cramped I couldnt scoot over.
If you go make reservations and request the back room, I think that would have helped a lot with the ‘atmosphere’.
The food and drinks are tasty. I particularly enjoyed the cookie on top of the brownie and the Dubai chocolate seasonal martini. The brownie was good but I think it could have been more gooey. My husband really enjoyed the chocolate inebriation cake. The vibe is cozy but the tables are pretty tight in the back room.
The food was top notch. Nice ambiance. Water glasses were silly small.
Baileys' Chocolate Bar is a popular spot that offers a great dining experience, perfect for couples and special occasions. Visitors enjoy delicious chocolate martinis, including the incredible Dubai chocolate martini, and a variety of sweet treats, such as the famous blondie and brownie Royale. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, ideal for group outings and date nights. While some reviews mention mixed experiences with service, others highlight the incredible service provided by the friendly and attentive staff, including a waiter named Jimmy, who made a lasting impression on guests.
The menu features a range of desserts, such as the Fraisier Cake and apple pie, but some dishes may not always meet expectations. Customers especially love the decadent desserts, with favorites like the Brownie Royal, which is big enough to share, and the Brulee Banana on the Royal. Many guests agree that the cookies are a standout option among the desserts. The place is praised for its delicious food and drinks, particularly for chocolate lovers. The restaurant no longer uses the upstairs area, and reservations are strongly recommended due to limited seating, although some guests have been accommodated without a reservation. On nice days, the patio is open for outdoor seating. Despite occasional service issues, visitors find that the relaxing atmosphere and tasty desserts make Baileys' Chocolate Bar a must-visit in St. Louis.
