This is my friend's favorite place to get sushi so we checked it out after work. The decor is all about gaming and anime which is why it's his favorite.

We started out with the gyoza and popcorn chicken and then enjoyed the caterpillar roll and the house recommended La Flama Blanca. Y the gyoza was nice and crispy. The popcorn chicken was dredged in a very light tempura flour making it crispy yet not heavy. The rolls were both beautiful and tasty.

I decided to check out Blue Ocean for dinner, upon arrival it was pretty quiet and I was swiftly greeted and seated by friendly staff. The atmosphere leans heavy into Japanese pop culture oriented decor including retro anime and kaiju themes with a little bit of a cozy izakaya energy, and the menu leans heavily into the same Japanese inspiration and is complimented by a whiskey and drink bar.
