Always an interesting dining experience at this El Maguey location in the Delmar Loop.
Unfortunately, they are always understaffed and while those who are there mean well they often fall very short of what you would expect at a sit-down restaurant.

Great food, good flavors. They have a vegetarian fajitas with carrots, cauliflower and mushrooms, which was surprisingly delicious and you can add meat to it. Typical rice and beans you get any any Mexican place nowadays.
The food was fresh and good. The service was young so not as attentive as I preferred but they're young and still learning.
