Carmine’s is my favorite steakhouse in St. Louis. I have been a loyal customer at all of the Lombardo family restaurants my entire life and Carmine’s is simply the best. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always 5 stars, never disappoints.
I recommend eating here before/after a downtown event or game because the location is prime and has easy access to the highway. I always use their valet parking to avoid traffic at other downtown parking places.

I come once a year to STL and Carmines is our first stop for dinner! steaks and cocktails on point! Old school service from valet to coat check. Love this place.

The house salad and dressing are of good quality, and the salmon and shrimp is an off-menu item that is good. The ribeye was perfect. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is very friendly and work together to give a complete experience, with attentive and excellent service. Water glasses are constantly refilled, and empty plates are promptly removed. The staff's knowledge of the menu and ability to accommodate special requests is highlighted. Valet parking is pretty cheap. While the food and service are great, some customers note that the restrooms could be cleaner and the atmosphere could use an update, as the design appears humble.
