The food was good as were the prices. The chicken quesadillas were generously sized and my friend already wants to go back! I had the Carne Asada burrito which was great, and the chips were fresh, salsa was good. A little disappointed in the Margarita which tastes like a powdered base - but I did not confirm that and I drank it all anyway lol. Service was good. Not much ambiance, it's in a storefront just east of McCausland on Manchester. Will definitely be going back...

Best Mexican food in STL! Little known spot but truly a gem! I wanted people to know … and yet I don’t because their margs and their food is so excellent. And there’s so much heart in this place. The people that own it are awesome

Tried El Potro, when my go-to Greek restaurant had closed early unexpectedly for the evening.

I got the Burrito De Pollo Fajita. Chicken was juicy and tender. Peppers were nice and fresh. Lots of warm queso cheese sauce on top. Came with black beans, which were very good. I also asked for a side of rice. The chips and salsa were very good as well. The salsa tasted authentic and had a nice level of flavor and spice.

I will definitely return...
