Small take-out only restaurant with fantastic food! We ordered 2 of the j*** chicken plates. My husband's sides were the spicy cabbage and Caribbean corn, and I ordered the mac and cheese and Caribbean corn. The chicken was really great - so flavorful and moist! J*** Soul has been on my list of places to try. Decided to order them for lunch. The place is kind of hidden on Cherokee st but I could smell the food cooking as I walked to the door. Everything in the menu sounded so good, but I decided on the pasta. Let me tell you, the pasta was amazing! The spice from the j*** chicken gave it a good kick. Chicken was tender. The food was awesome, the j*** wings, mac and cheese, cabbage and rice on the bottom of the container was very tasty. From the time I ordered and the food was packaged up, it was fresh and hot. I wish they had seating but understand it is a carry out location. I hope they expand real soon.
