Mayo Ketchup Reviews
We are hosting a big party for my father in laws 75th birthday. We reached out to the owner about possibly catering the party. We had a budget in mind and she didn’t want to work with us and called my father in laws wife annoying and she hopes our party is a failure. This is not how you do business and or how you treat future customers. I do not recommend working with this restaurant. I have a text thread for proof but in privacy for my family I will not share it. If you want...read full review
Tried this spot for the first ti.e and now I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I had the steak and cheese sandwich. It had soooo much flavor, and was just an all around REALLY good sandwich. Thank you, and I will be back!

Mayo Ketchup is a popular restaurant known for its delicious and diverse menu options. The food is consistently great, with customers particularly enjoying the tasty sandwiches, such as the Jibarito with Pork, and the amazing bowls, including the Topical Bowl and the Perull. The use of mashed plantains as a bun in the Jibarito is a novel and very tasty touch. The pulled pork is tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, and customers appreciate the option of jackfruit as a meat substitute. The fried plantains are also a highlight, with a subtle flavor and a nice texture. The restaurant's decor is colorful and nerdy, adding to the unique dining experience. The larger back area with natural light provides ample seating. Overall, Mayo Ketchup offers a casual and unique dining experience, with a great balance of fresh flavors.
Customers love the consistently delicious food and the friendly staff. The restaurant is casual and informal, making it suitable for families with kids. Parking is available on the street around the restaurant, and the nearby park provides a nice spot for a walk after the meal. Many customers mention that the food is hot, fresh, and delicious, with some saying they could survive on the Jibaritos alone. The restaurant has evolved into a larger venue, including a stadium and midtown location, and remains just as good if not better than before. Visitors also note that the food feels authentic and homemade, with dishes bursting with flavor and made with love. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and portions are generous, leaving guests feeling like family. The unique dishes, like the sandwich made with flattened plantain instead of bread, and the flavorful sauces, are highly recommended. Overall, Mayo Ketchup is a must-visit for anyone craving real, home-cooked Latin meals in a casual, friendly setting.
