The baby back ribs at Roper’s are phenomenal. They fell off the bone, and the sauce was so tasty. I had this on my list of places to try, and it was well worth it. A lot of people may complain about how hard it is to find parking or how the baked beans are only decent, but I didn’t come here for baked beans. I came here for “the best BBQ in the universe” as Roper’s claims. And at the time of me writing this, I haven’t found any place in the universe to disprove that...
Me & my family visited ur place on Sunday 10/19/25 4 my mother & grand kids birthday & the food was so delicious especially the Potato salad so I brought some home & told my Son that the potato salad tasted like I make it so he tired some & he agreed with me then he said he never tasted nobody potato salad that taste like mine.. So my friend and I went to Roper's to try their Bar-b-q. While in line, I saw shrimp on the menu. I kinda scratched my head because I wasn't expecting fried shrimp from this restaurant.
I ordered just for the heck of it. Folks, I'm so glad I did. Their fried shrimp are absolutely delicious. The batter is crunchy and really tasty. The house made tartar sauce is delicious also. I literally forgot about my BBQ because I fell in LOVE with their shrimp....
