“My husband and I were on an anniversary road trip from Tennessee and decided to come to St Louis to see the Arch way. We decided to eat at Ace’s Smokestaq for an early dinner! Antonio and his family are so amazing and the food was absolutely on point! We felt like family! We even got a baby shower gift after we ate and brought it back for our new cousin 😉 Thank you for making our trip memorable and being who you are! Your family and restaurant are amazing! “I got the fried catfish, it was so hard if I threw it at the wall it would have put a hole in it. The sweet potatoes were from a can, no nutmeg, just sweet, the mac and cheese had some bacon or something in it that was crunchy. Cabbage was mushy, fried chicken had no seasoning to it, the bake chicken was just wet. For $70.00, do not waste your money or time. A hard No!“

“Hands down best food we had on our entire vacation! Fall-off-the-bone BBQ chicken, best friend catfish I think I've ever had, and OMG you have to try the baked beans!!!!! Fabulous, welcoming, friendly staff and environment. Highly recommend, and will definitely be stopping by every time we pass through St. Louis (we're from Texas, but travel a few times a year).“
