One of the best places for live music. The band was amazing, even though the bar service was super slow. Busy or not, pay attention. There was a $7 cover, but it was easy to find this info on social media, and it seemed that everyone was charged the same (I say this based on previous reviews noting differences in cover charge). We will definitely be back to check out other bands. Beale also has a food menu that's served until bar close.

Bill has just started serving late night food again! Though I haven't tried it, the menu looks very appetizing! They're serving up your favorite Cajon snacks, like barbecue shrimp, Cajun chicken tenders, and other great bites. If you're looking for a spot that always has an excellent lineup for blues and old school R&B, this is the place to go. It's a very small indoor venue, but if you visit during the warmer months like it is now, they open up the back full review

During my visit to St. Louis, I went to Beale on Broadway to see blues musician Marquis Knox. I tried to reserve a table in advance; however, I was informed (via phone when I called) that seating was first come first serve. No reservation accepted. Upon arriving, the first thing that struck me was how tiny this venue is. There were only 6 tables, each one seated 4 individuals. One of the six tables had a sign that said reserved on it.
