“Our group of 6 played some cards and enjoyed pitchers of sangria here while visiting Steelville recently. The servers were very friendly, and it’s a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. We expected more of a crowd on a Saturday evening, but it definitely lived up to the “peaceful” part of its name.”

“This is a charming little bakery in Cuba. Their atmosphere is very peaceful, and their food is wonderful. Everything is made from scratch.

“We camped at the Red Bluff campground in Davisville. After eating dinner we wanted a sweet treat, so we went to the Junktion for ice cream. The owners were very friendly and made you feel right at home. The next morning we went back for coffee. Both the ice cream and coffee were fantastic! Couldn’t recommend enough. “I recently stopped at Scooter’s Coffee in Cuba, MO, for a quick pick-me-up, and it ended up being a great experience. It was my first time trying Scooter’s, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. I went through the drive-thru, which moved quickly even with a few cars ahead of me. The barista at the window was super friendly, greeting me with a big smile and making sure I had everything I needed.

I ordered an iced coffee, which was delicious—not too sweet, with a nice balance of coffee and caramel flavors. I also grabbed a breakfast burrito on a whim, and it was surprisingly fresh and flavorful for a quick bite. It’s nice to have more than just the usual pastries as options, and it tasted like it had just been made.

The menu has a nice variety of options, so whether you’re a coffee drinker or more into smoothies or tea, there’s something for everyone. I could tell this is a place that cares about customer service and quality, which is refreshing for a drive-thru coffee stop. Overall, it was a quick but enjoyable stop, and I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area!

“I walked into Taco Bell expecting a quick bite, but I left questioning whether I had just met my guardian angel in quesadilla form. I ordered the steak quesadilla and a crunchy chicken taco, and let me tell you—these things slapped harder than my alarm on Monday morning.

The steak quesadilla was so perfectly cheesy I’m convinced it could solve at least three of my personal problems. The crunchy chicken taco? Crispier than my sense of humor and somehow still managed not to fall apart all over my shirt (a true Taco Bell miracle).
