“Was immediately greeted by the bartender walking through the door. Sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks that were very well blended. My bartender was Adam, who was attentive and funny. Bar was clean. My friend had a blueberry Martini that she has not stopped talking about every sense. We played pool and had a good time. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Went for our anniversary dinner. Service and foo was excellent! Atmosphere was a little noisy, but there were a few large groups throughout the place because of Christmas. Highly recommend the portobello fries and bacon wrapped water chestnuts as appetizers! My wife had the Cajun Napoleon, which was immense amount of food! She enjoyed it very much and had enough for dinner the next day. I had the salmon, Cajun style, medium rare. It was done very nicely! The sides were very good. I especially enjoyed the flash fried parm spinach. A very unique presentation of spinach! Of the two glasses she had, my wife enjoyed the Filino Cab more than the Rombauer Zin. Very enjoyable time for our anniversary!

“I ordered the smores and pink velvet iced coffee. So yummy! I got the breakfast burrito. It was stuffed full. With bacon, sausage, tots, eggs, and cheese. So delicious! I got so full. Will be returning again soon. Can't wait to eat the waffles and try the waffle burger. Just grabbed the burrito today, so I could take it with me and eat it on the go. Was in a hurry, walked in ordered, and was in and out in less then 5 mins. Lady even opened the door for me to leave. Lots of space in what looks like a small building. Plenty of sitting outside as well.

“I was in town with my husband and kids. we chose this restaurant due to the amazing reviews and thought it would be kid friendly. Unfortunately we had a HORRIBLE experience due to the shift lead/manager on duty. First our meals all came out at different times. The two kids meals came out after we had ordered 15+ min, then 15+ min later mine, and then 10+ min after that my husband's and other daughter's was how we finally all got food. I will say the rest of my family was pleased with their food. they said it was hot and tasty. However, my burger came out cold. the bun seemed like it had just been pulled out of the fridge, my burger cold and hard, cheese unmelted, and the cast iron dish it came in was room temp. When the worker came to bring my husband and daughter's food I did complain because it was inedible. This person (she claimed.to be the shift lead/manager on duty) immediately got defense that there was no way it was cold, it has been on the grill for 20 min. I told her it was (and with her attitude) I said I wanted a refund. She informed me that it was company policy they did not give refunds, and she could give me loyalty points. I told her I was from out of town and that would not help. At this point she wasn't just being defensive, she was also being just flat out rude and snotty telling me it wasn't her fault. She offered to make me some Mac n cheese instead, and I informed her that I was diabetic thus ordering the burger. I asked her to at least have it remade. She told me NO that it would be the same. I asked for a manager and she informed me she was the shift lead/manager on duty and the only one I could talk to. I asked for the corporate number and she told me they were not corporate. I then asked for the owner, and she said she couldn't give me the number. I admit at that point I was irate. She was defensive, rude, and just out right nasty to me. I want to know what happened to customer service. I have done good service, customer service, sales, and management most of my life. I have never been spoken to/treated so horribly by a restaurant worker none the less a "manager." I finally had enough and stated that if she would do nothing then I would call my bank and have our $70 charge reversed since I did not get actual edible food (this included a tip btw). She said fine and stomped off. I proceeded to contact my bank. In that time she must have called the owner or a manager above her because I heard her complaining about me to someone on the phone right behind me. She did get me a refund and came over and slammed it on the table next to me staying "here is your refund." She then turned and stomped off without another word to me. Needless to say I will NEVER go to a MacCheesey again ever no matter where I travel. They seem to not care about their customers or how the staff treats them if the owners allow such behavior from their employees and refuse to speak with customers.“

“My wife and I popped into this place for lunch on our way to Hot Springs, and was in for a pleasant surprise!. I had a blue burger that was perfectly cooked, and my wife had a chicken sandwich that was crispy and fresh. Although they were packed, and very busy, our food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was cool. Good music, good food, and a professional staff. I noticed how everyone seemed to be in sync, without a rushed or panicked reaction. A good team of people working there, and it shows!

“My partner and I have become regulars at this establishment, and while it is a chain - we agree that this is the best steak of the other major chains in the area. (Texas Roadhouse, Logan's, Outback). The food is consistent, the service is always great. I can tell the workers really value providing good service, even if it is to hope for a good tip. I'm almost always offered ways to make the experience better, such as our last visit when our waiter brought a little dish of garlic butter and lemon wedges for our broccoli. He says this is how he loves to eat it and it was delicious! Brought us to-go drinks, containers for our sauces, and an extra loaf of bread to take with us as my son was LOVING it.

It is a little pricier than their competitors, but my family agrees that it is worth the minimal price difference. They do have a smaller menu than most, but I believe they have perfected the items they do have!

10/10 recommend the wings off the appetizer section of the menu. Best wings in Joplin!

Kid-friendliness: My partner and I have been regularly visiting this establishment since I was early in my pregnancy with my 1 year old. I have brought him every visit since he was born and have always felt well accommodated for him. On busier nights, it is actually fairly noisy enough to reduce disruptions to other tables by him getting too excited. Staff have never made me feel bad about having him, if anything I've been offered additional options to help accommodate him more.“

Ear buds could come in handy if needed for temporary noise reduction. ****They advertise not to bring food, but pretty much everyone I saw brought their own popcorn, drinks, and candy.Overall, it's an enjoyable experience.“

“Great Service! Large party of 15, and our server was awesome! The food was good and came out exactly as ordered. Chicken chunks are a huge portion and very tasty. Chicken Wings were also great with the paired sauces. Appetizers seemed to be prepared frozen items and were just okay.

“After being at the water park all day, this place was what we needed to end the day.

For a chain Bbq restaurant, the food is really good. They happen to have a special for the night for their 30th anniversary. It definitely did what they said it would, fill us up with some left over for a family of 6 to take home.

Ribs were on point tonight and the cornbread was ?.

Smoked chicken was delicious.

Kid friendly and the booths are big enough for a family of 6.
