“In town from Ohio for the UD-SLU game and arrived at Blue Jay Brewing 45 minutes before scheduled opening (unknowingly). Our first time there based on a recommendation down near Pappy’s. Jay saw us outside, pulling on a locked door, and invited us in. The beer was very good - I had the Monarch, a Munich style Dunkel. Jay and his wife are doing it right. Recommend you make this one of your stops while in town. GO FLYERS!“

“Written back in 2016 and moved here because I'm ditching Yelp. Hopefully they got the credit card thing sorted in the last decade.
We went to 3 places on this excursion and this one was my favorite. Why? Mainly because I could see myself spending a lot of time hanging out here. They have a great selection of beers, multiple seating areas (both indoor and outdoor), darts and a lot more. We sat outside for a while but moved into their loft area when the sun set.
I had 2 beers. The first was an American Pale Ale. It was slightly crisp and delicious. The second was their cask beer of the day or week. It was surprisingly creamy and rich in flavor.
Why only 4-stars? Mainly because it's 2016 and they are a cash-only business. Time to modernize!“
“2nd Shift Brewing absolutely blew us away. Not only is their beer/seltzer’s incredible (seriously—every single one we served was a hit), but their generous donation of drinks for our school trivia night made a huge impact.
From the very beginning, their team was so communicative, responsive, and genuinely easy to work with. Planning an event can be stressful, and they made the entire process seamless. Their generosity truly helped make our event such a success.
And the beer itself—top tier. So flavorful, well-crafted, and a crowd favorite all night. We had so many people asking where it was from and raving about it.

“Limited food selection, stingy with fries but the burgers were great , atmosphere was very friendly. My sister absolutely loved the Brussels sprouts but the highlight of the experience was the Manchester Margaritas! Phenomenal!I took a pic of the menu so I could replicate when I get home. Overall good experience.“
“We did the Day Fresh tour on a Thursday morning (10:30am) in June. The tour lasted about 90 minutes with several stops during the tour. We visited the Clydesdale horses and stable, fermenting and bottling buildings, sampled beer while we learned about the ingredients in Budweiser beer, took a trolley ride back to the staring place, and ended the tour with a 20oz draft as part of the tour. Also part of the Day Fresh tour, everyone over 21 was given a bottle of beer that had been bottled less than 24 hours before. This tour was great-make sure to spend time in the gift shop after the tour. So many fun gifts and souvenirs. Highly recommend!!

“It's a very good pie to go alongside some of the best beer you can find anywhere. Like all Side Project uh projects, you are going to pay for the quality you get back. In this case, as with the beer at the main brewery or cellar locations, it's worth it for a splurge every once in a while.“
“We were visiting St. Louis for a couple of days and found this gem not far from our Airbnb. After a long drive a cold beer was in order and this brewery did not disappoint. They also have some really good Sours and one that is aged in a Chardonnay barrel, it was sooo good!“

“We just hosted our daughter’s wedding reception at the AB Biergarten. From planning to execution we could not have been happier. Heather is an amazing coordinator and made the decision making process so easy. The staff on-site for the day of the event were terrific. It was an amazing day. Additionally, we used vendors that were all recommended by the team at AB, and they were all exceptional. Highly recommend this venue for a wedding reception“

“The only thing I am disappointed in is my partner.Did not have an option of different ciders, and we had multiple guests that enjoy ciders and not beer.It would have been great to have everyone drinking.And having a great time based on what they wanted to drink“

“Crossed paths with Ryan, head brewer at Rockwell Beer Co., while at Maifest in New Town, St. Charles. They brought 3 beers with them, and I tried to buy the entire inventory. I probably had 15 samples of the 3 beers, because of all the brewers represented at Maifest, Rockwell had the best of everything (flavor, finish, packaging, etc.). So darn good, I can't wait to hit up the beer garden when we visit the Zoo area this summer. New, huge fan of Rockwell Beer Company over here!!!“
