“So there I was, driving around aimlessly thinking about Starbucks. Good Lord did I want some Starbucks. I would have done anything for some Starbucks. But I was on the opposite side of I-10 and just happened to see a new coffee shop where Krispy Kreme used to be. PJ's coffee. A coffee shop from New Orleans? Being a southern person, I know how good everything from New Orleans actually is so I went ahead and took my happy ass in there and check it out. As soon as I went in I was greeted warmly by the staff and the place was extremely clean. The crazy thing is, this part of town is somewhere I used to not want to visit but this cafe is sticking out like a sore thumb in a good way. The pregnant girl in there, Kat, was super nice and extremely helpful, she made an awesome chocolatey frozen drink for me, coffee, she heated up the muffin that I bought, and she had a smile the whole time. Although I didn't catch their names, the other two workers were just as bright and happy. I think I just found my new coffee spot.“
