Ate here for lunch today after my son's Pharmacy school graduation at Ole Miss. The food was very good and plenty of it. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The place was full when we arrived but we were seated within 5 or so minutes. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. I wish it were close to home so I could visit often.
Delicious.
The dinner was spectacular with super fast attentive service. I ll be back again while visiting on a work related project!

Yamato Japanese Steakhouse in Batesville is a favorite Japanese restaurant. The food is 5 stars, with delicious options like Hibachi, steak, shrimp, and chicken cooked to perfection. Appetizers such as steamed gyoza, sweet chili shrimp, edamame, and Jalapeño bombs are very good. The sushi rolls are out of this world, with favorites including the fried Superman, Louisiana roll, Ole Miss roll, and super crunchy roll. The service is 5 stars, with a sweet, attentive waitress who provided quick food even during a busy Sunday lunch rush. The atmosphere is 5 stars, the inside is clean, and the bathroom is always clean. Decent prices make it a great experience. It is a basic hibachi place that does not cook food in front of guests, but overall it is a great experience.
