Their ribs are the best I have ever had: almost (almost is the key) fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly. Try them dry first, but they have a selection of delicious sauces, too. Down South also has delicious chicken, brisket, and wings in addition to burgers and a wide selection of side dishes. The folks are friendly and well organized and offer a simple, immaculately clean dining area if you want to dine in. If you haven't tried Down South, I encourage you to do so!“

“Wow I had almost given up on BBQ not prepared at my home. The service was excellent, dry ribs are really good if you want them to fall off the bone. Brisket was good, Cole slaw, potato salad were both tasty. Tried the BBQ sauce, only if you like wet ribs should you ever grab the container. Oh my wife had onion rings, I thought they were good too. “Met my grandson for dinner Friday about 5:30 pm. I had the redfish with Angel hair pasta and asparagus spears. It was perfect, seasoned just right and delicious. Even the salad dressing tasted homemade. Grandson also enjoyed his meal. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us several times, refilled drinks, and inquired how our food was. I’ve been to Angelo’s several times for the plate lunch and even arranged a lunch for my high school class recently. All were good experiences.“
