“My wife, sister in law and mother in law were in Jackson for a Dr appointment and decided to stop and eat at your Clinton location. They left the car on for Honey, my mother in laws dog. When they returned to the car, they realized that the car was out of gas even though it was showing it wasn’t on the gauge. When they went in to ask if anyone had a gas can, Ella offered to take her to the gas station so they wouldn’t have to walk…. And when they had to use a milk jug the staff was on the inside trying to make a funnel for them…What Ella and the staff did not know is that two weeks ago my sister in law had major back surgery, the day after my mother in law had a stroke and my wife has stage 4 cancer. You have great group of people working at this location and we wanted you to know it!“

“This is a rather unique convenience store—Big Daddy's BBQ is very good on those rare occasions one wants a Flintstones-sized meal or just a good hot and greasy cheddar sausage dog with warm bun smothered in yellow mustard plus a Blue Bell Chocolate ice cream cup plus a pint of wonderful potato salad to take home like I did yesterday! ♥️“

“Ok we enjoyed it. But pulled pork while tasty was more like ground pork. Pulled pork should be hand pulled and not resemble dog food on a plate. Sorry for the visual there folks. The “tri-tip” was clearly sliced brisket. So they either got the order wrong or… Also it was cut with the bias making it stringy. But flavor was good The sides we had were delicious but could cornbread be an option in the future? Overall recommend… good food and great atmosphere. We will be back for sure.“

It's the best chicken I have ever ate, you ain't got a choice but to lick your fingers when you're finished! The two Queens in the kitchen putting their and soul up in that food . “Today I tried E&L & it has been a while but I’m so glad that my mind lead me there!!! Everyone recognized my husband & I as we’ve patronized the restaurant for years. The service was great & fast, prices have increased a bit but still very affordable as everything is increasing. Got home & our dinner was delicious. We had Tips, Links, Sauce on fries, & potatoe salad. Thanks E&L!! Closing time has changed a bit so check with them about hours of operation.“
