“Gina and I went to Jourdan River Steamer last night for a date. It’s been hit or miss lately with this place but when it hits it’s fire. Last night was an inferno!!! 5 stars. ⭐️ The service, food, atmosphere, everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.“

“Great, friendly staff! We ordered the Greek Yougurt, with the local fresh strawberries, blueberries, homemade granola and topped with locally sourced honey. It was nice to sit outside. The also have a separate section to eat outside with your dog. You might want to call or order ahead. The line was out the door, but so worth it!“

“Just “found” this place and what a find! Food was wonderful and had great selection. Even had sugar-free syrup. Service was above the norm. Ladies never stopped but always had a smile. Coffee cup never got low and coffee was sooo good. We will definitely be back!“

“In the area for a birthday party this afternoon and Dempsey’s was recommended as a good place to eat. Our first time there and they did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Good size portions and very reasonably priced. If you’re in the area I highly recommend this gem!“

“Joined friends for dinner here recently. Lovely atmosphere, attentive service. While the food was good, I found the menu to be somewhat limited. I greatly enjoyed the savory cheesecake, as did my companions. My Ropa Vieja was a bit dry, unfortunately; more attention to cooking time might be warranted, but the sauce on the dish was outstanding. The cocktails were well-crafted also. I will definitely visit again, because I noticed that there is very inviting exterior seating in the rear courtyard. Nice place to lounge for a drink and a bite.“

“This is our most favorite place hands down! We've lived on the coast for almost 10 years and just recently tried LM...This our our new place! EVERY single time we go, JJ goes above and beyond for us to make us feel welcome, special and does everything possible to ensure we have the best experience. Cannot recommend this place more. “Delicious!!! Ate there today & everything was fabulous!! I'm not a big fan of Mexican because of Cilantro (I'm one of those that it taste like soap to) & usually stick to taco salad or fajitas. Today I had a combo meal that the only problem with it was I couldn't eat it all in one sitting (and I wanted to & did bring my leftovers home-a 1st again)!! Miss Gina was the perfect waitress..attentive, polite, efficient & bubbly! Thank you El Maguey for a wonderful experience!! I will be back!!“

“Fantastic. Energy and atmosphere is awesome. Service is outstanding and everything we ordered was spot on and “lights out”. A do not miss when in the Bay. Blue cheese meatballs were very tasty. Gris Gris oysters were spectacular. Crab swimmers were great and we got tuna special of the day, which didn’t disappoint. If I lived in the Gulf Coast, Fields would Be my “go to”.“

“Food was GREAT (( we had fried baby back ribs, corn on the cob, and the baby ref potatoes )) , atmosphere was good , but the drinks was small [ 12oz. Solo cup ] had to wait a long time to get a refill. the women who served us really wanted to sit and talk to her friend[s] that was there. And the bad thing was we was the only ones at the time eating actually we was the only ones on the 2nd floor besides the employees for a long time. BUT BECAUSE THE FOOD WAS GREAT WE WILL GO BACK!!“
