I've loved the food there, on my occasions to visit the area. But I can't figure out why a place that opens at 6a.m. doesn't show breakfast on their menu.I've had breakfast there, and they should be proud enough of it to put it on the dang menu.
We found this great place on a road trip using Yelp to guide the way. Friendly service and delicious food. We had the lunch buffet. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. This place just became a must stop on any road trips in the future! Side note: I see a lot of people complaining, saying this isn't good soul food. It isn't soul food at all. This isn't a soul food restaurant. Just southern food. And it's great!

The food tastes a lot better than what it used to, the bacon didnt have any fat, the beignets & french toast are better than most places. Too bad theyre switching over :( It was one of the very few locally owned restaurants that serves breakfast at 6am...
