Kien Giang Diverville is a restaurant in the heart of the downtown area, hidden away in a shopping center off in the corner. The restaurant is the cleanest Pho restaurant with attentive service and amazing Pho. The food and service are always great. The staff is very courteous and professional. The food is lite, flavorful, and filling. The soup broths are amazing, seasoned the way it should be. They carry ingredients that you don't see at the generic places. Meals are hot, tasty, and the portions abundant. The restaurant offers many wonderful Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine dishes, mainly Vietnamese. Specific dishes include broken rice with pork skin, grilled meat and shrimp, fresh spring rolls (bi cuon) with super addictive peanut flavor sauce, crispy noodle (bird nest) combination (Mi Xao Thap Cam), and green muscles with ginger and green onions (Chem Chep Xao Gurng Hanh). The grilled meat and shrimp tasted very well and truly “grilled”, the pork skin was very fragrant. The service is excellent; the staff knows the menu by heart. Prices are nice. The seating area is good and can accommodate few large groups. They are very busy with to go orders. A small side of jasmine rice and an extra plate of white rice were not charged extra, a very ethical way of doing business. A highly recommended real Vietnamese experience.
