We are new to the area and we are enjoying finding little places like this. The place reminded us of our old college town. The food was great, not expensive, and the dining room was decorated with local and college sports team gear. Definitely will add this place to our favorites list.
This is a great road-food stop. Tasty hand battered chicken, oysters and shrimp plus burgers and poboys. I wanted a specialty of the house, so I got the chicken on a stick- chicken, pickles and onions battered and fried with “rock” sauce (comeback sauce). It was great. The fries are battered and the breadsticks are soft and sweet. Service is fast and friendly. Definitely worth a short detour and a welcome break when driving from the coast to Meridian.
I've eaten here since I was a small child. I really enjoy the chicken tenders 😋
