I went here on a last minute date. I wanted Italian, and this popped up on my search in the area. There was a short wait, but we were offered the opportunity to forego the wait if we sat at the bar or a half booth near it. We took the half booth. The atmosphere was perfect for a date, even if by the bar. Best Italian restaurant in the metro area. Always good. Great addition to Fondren district. Great lunch menu, Brunch, early bird specials begins at 4pm. Nice selection of top shelf spirits and wine. A must try for appetizers, the artichoke cheese dip. Friendly atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Fish of day, delicious salads and artichoke dip.Parking: Nice size parking area, well lit and clean

Exactly what we were looking for in an Italian restaurant with a nice, but not too fancy, environment. The service was absolutely on point. The food was fast for a busy Sunday dinner and all was delicious. Go for the bruschetta or crab cakes over the cheese fritters for an appetizer. Definitely recommend the mushroom ravioli, and the tortellini with crab was great too.
