Outstanding steak and fries. Great service. Place has not noticeably changed since I have been returning for the past 50 years!
This place is the definition of local. Pure Mississippian hospitality with a laid back feel. The entrance has you walking through the kitchen where steaks are grilled on an old grill and fresh cut fries are fried in cast iron skillets. The menu is small, but the steaks, fries, bread, and salad are all very good. They also have authentic mississippi style tamales which I would recommend getting too. Our eyes bulged out when the Porterhouse’s arrived at our table. Really huge and delicious, my son and I enjoyed them a lot. Only side available were French fries the menu is really small not much choice. Steaks, spaghetti and chili tamales were the options. Oh yea they had oysters as well.
