OMG this place was the bomb .My family and I stopped yesterday to eat lunch.Okay when I tell you it was delicious and amazing my fried rib and fries, my husband taco,my son shrimp poboy and fries and daughter shrimp and fries was the bomb.???When we return to Mississippi we will stop again .Much Love ?????????????
Saw the Jerky King featured on WLOX's website. Didn't know what to expect, but I was tired of eating lunch at the same old fast-food joints and wanted something different. And was I surprised!! Don't judge the food by the outside--that would be a mistake. The people are friendly, the menu, including desert, is varied, and the the food was great. Walking into this restaurant swept me with a sense of nostalgia I couldn't quite place. It was like being at home and on vacation at the same time. I knew right away I'd be very satisfied with my experience here, and that rang true. Portions are a good size and flavor is great. You can tell the cooks at Martin's put effort into the small details that bring the whole dish together. I plan to return and bring a new friend each time!
