So we are from Houston, just passing through on the way to Atlanta, and stopped for the night in Hattiesburg. We were tired and hungry. Our choice was between Cracker Barrel and Mario's Italian Restaurant. We certainly weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in Hattiesburg, MS, but anything is better than Cracker Barrel. Man! This was really good! Service was excellent too! Tasted just as good as some of the fancy Houston Italian places and for about 1/2...

We ordered catering for our wedding reception this past weekend. The food was ready on time, hot, and delicious! Everyone raved about the eggplant, parmesan and the cheese raviolis. We definitely recommend Mario's for delicious Italian food!

Mario’s Restaurant was absolutely awesome! From the moment we sat down, we could tell this was going to be a great meal. The service was friendly and the atmosphere had that warm and welcoming feel that makes you want to settle in and enjoy every bite.

I ordered the chicken marsala and was completely blown away. The sauce was rich and flavorful, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the whole dish just melted...
