“The staff here are the epitome of what customer service should look like. I come in probably a couple times a month, but had to take a few months leave for military training. Came back in, and they said they were wondering where I’ve been and were hoping I was ok! Very kind and caring people and I’m impressed they knew 1 face that doesn’t come in super often!“

“I seldom post anymore, but Gary and I had such an awesome Date Night experience at a local restaurant last night that I wanted to share. Thursday night is our official date night (odd, I know, but we’re old and we usually end up eating during happy hour everywhere), and last night we decided to try Bushman Street Cafe downtown. This under the radar restaurant is a fine dining experience in every sense of the word. I was reminded favorably of Brennan’s in NOLA. The food was excellent, the service attentive and impeccable, and the ambiance was close to perfect. The only minor niggle I had was the fact that the music was a little loud for conversation between two old fogies, one of whom is quite deaf (even though he had his hearing aids on). I’m not letting that minor quibble affect my experience, though, as this seems to be universal among restaurants. I guess the marketing thought is people don’t want to talk to each other anyway? At any rate, I highly recommend Bushman Street Cafe. I feel like their marketing could use a boost, as I really hadn’t heard of it til Gary started researching a new restaurant in town. “I ordered this morning on UberEATS, and I will most definitely be ordering again. We got a Caesar salad wrap and that Mexican wrap with the street corn in it. We loved both of them, but I did notice that they were just a little dry. We had some Caesar dressing in the fridge, so it wasn't a problem at all. The flavor was great, and they gave me extra pickles when I asked. 10/10“

“We recently ate lunch at Tabella. I had the lighter meal of lemon pepper chicken, garlic green beans and garlic potatoes. The chicken was a thin piece of breast that had been grilled which is what I like but it was overcooked resulting in it being dry. The green beans were undercooked. The potatoes were excellent as was the service. This won't stop us from eating at Tabella in the future but it wasn't what we have come to expect when eating there.“

“I go here mostly out of convenience. Also they are very fast and friendly. Have not been disappointed. They are great. However, they do have a limited menu because of being on campus plus a even more limited menu due to Covid. Overall, I recommend to everyone.“
