I did those two things and OMG…. Why am I just finding this place? Red beans were phenomenal and that brownie, oh my. 5🌟 food and the customer service was second to none. “This is such a great place to eat! With everything from Mexican to Japanese foods. And then for dessert, Baskin Robbin’s ice cream! The owner was so nice. We are new to the area so we didn’t know what to expect. I will just say, Restaurante Guatemalteca did not disappoint! If you haven’t tried this place, it’s a must!”

“Best authentic mexican restaurant in southwest mississippi that I have eaten in. This is in the back of a grocery store that is super clean!!! The marinated meats are flavorful. The restaurant in the back (taqueria) serves some of the best food items that you would expect to be served in Mexico, not in an americanized mexican restaurant. It is helpful if you speak spanish here, but they have folks who speak english here as well. Try the sopes or hurraches. Go back and try it all! Great service”

When i walked in I was greeted and I was in and out within 5 minutes. the service was good, but the food is AMAZING. this subway puts all the other subways in this area to shame. My bread was fresh and fluffy, the vegetables were fresh, and the meat tasted brand new! definitely recommend”

“Ive never actually seen the Steakhouse portion of this eatery, but the lunch buffet is one of the best I've tried. The food is always fresh and hot. The food area is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and this place is always busy. We drive from Jackson, at least once a month to eat here. Highly recommend.
