“We took a trip to the Inaugural Weekend of the Houston Grub Park introducing Black owned small businesses & food trucks.We decided to come hungry so that we could try multiple truck options.At this truck, there were many options. The truck advertised its burger, but because of the heat, we wanted something a little lighter than a burger. And because the name included Mississippi we thought a fish & seafood option would be best.We waited 45 minutes after placing our order to get our food. Because we do family style eating, we rotated waiting. We were able to get food from 2 other trucks while waiting for our fish plate & they had lines too. In the heat of the day, a 45 minute wait is too long.The food was served hot, beautifully fried and the golden color had others coming over to check it out and ask about the taste. For the asking, they had condiments that included ketchup, tartar sauce & hot sauce.The shrimp were great. They were large, not overly seasoned, but were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside.Everyone loves a tater tot & there were plenty to share. They were good, perfectly cooked and easy to dip.The catfish was thinly filleted, but overly fried for a piece so thin. The fish was muddy but well seasoned, but too crispy to really enjoy.I'd give them a 2nd try based on the shrimp, but I'm not willing to wait 45 minutes.”

“This place is great. The owner is one of the nicest people, very knowledgeable about her products. I love the energy tea and coffee. She also has amazing shakes, too. Everything is healthy but tastes good. If you're trying to lose weight, definitely stop by and let her help you get started.”

“Steak and shrimp omg so delicious. Steak medium well is so tender and seasoned so well. The grilled shrimp skewer that comes with it is plentiful and seasoned on point. It even comes with a salad and another side. I got the potato and once again another hit. I drive all the way from Jackson for this order. Love the customer service. I called in 4 orders on the way and it was ready upon arrival and the place was packed. That's commendable. Will definitely be back and my go to place for a great steak and potato.”

“Delicious food!!!! Took my brother and sister in law out for dinner and were impressed by everything!!!!! Catfish was cooked to perfection and slaw and greens were so good not to mention the hush puppies! We will be back!!!”

“We found Tom's while traveling through Jackson. The meat pies are made to order so always fresh and worth the wait. The coconut cream was very good. If I lived local I would go back frequently to try all the pies.”

“This is an awesome little find I discovered in Crystal Springs on my lunch break. When I walked inside, I immediately loved the atmosphere. It's casual and comfortable as a pizza parlor should be, but it's also decorated so cool! I love the fun decor as well as the area with large screen TVs. The service is great. The ladies are friendly and helpful-definitely raised in the South! The food is made fresh immediately after you place your order and it's DELICIOUS! I, personally, love the calzones and the fact that they have 3 different sizes to choose from depending on how hungry you are. If you are passing through Crystal Springs, definitely go check out this place! It's right in the middle of downtown Crystal Springs so you can't miss it!!”

“We had the burgers, and they were great! The baked beans were really good, too. The coleslaw at first bite wasn't that great, but I'll say that I have had worse coleslaw. The service was excellent. We had a very friendly waiter, who updated on the prices - they're getting new ones and listed prices were wrong. Think old-school greasy spoon when you walk in; no frills or chills. But if I find myself hungry and in Crystal Springs again, I will eat there again. Maybe try their seafood.”

“We love Lost Pizza, the food is good ,the staff is good and of course the place looks great but, this location didn't hit home for us like the Indianola Ms location does, which has that delta family feel to it. Will eat there again, but probably will only do take out.”

“Tommy and the lady who work here are both great! My vegetarian order mistakenly had some meat in it and she offered a free replacement. This is the only time I’ve *ever* had cross contamination here. I think they are extremely clean and careful with people’s food. Love this place!”

“Today's experience (Sunday Mar.3)was nice, very pleasant. All of the food was hot, the desserts were nice and the refill of drinks kept coming. The only downside was, when I asked what kind of fish that was being served the server look me straight in the eye and said, "Catfish". Even though it was seasoned very well and hot, it definitely was not catfish. Outside of that, I enjoyed my meal. The price point was very reasonable and the atmosphere was very nice. I would recommend this restaurant as a good place for southern comfort food.”

“I've been a regular customer for the past 2 years at supper time and noticed they've changed their menu to a smaller variety and raised the prices and lowered the portions. I've decided to start going for lunch and get a better price for whatever I order from the lunch menu. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas. Chips and salsa were brought out at the time when we ordered. Nice atmosphere, good food and service. The only drawback I don't like is they charge an extra fee just to scan your debit card on THEIR reader, so I pay cash. I'm not going to pay any fees to establishments for the use of their card reader. I'm a customer, not the owner. Wait staff are always friendly, kudos to the servers!!”

“This is an AMAZING place! I am always welcomed with a smile. The scent of "Sunday dinner" fills the air. We have ordered Wednesday night dinner for church as well as personal orders for the holidays. Each order was perfect!”

“This place is full of historical importance and intrest let alone from having some of the best soft serve ice cream around. I been getting ice cream from here for over 45 years and I can remember my parents sharing with me the significance of the 2 windows on front of the building, jimcrow area practices. Ice cream tastes more like frozen custard these days.”

“Food is delicious and freshly made to order, at least the sushi is. My wife likes getting the Dynamite roll because it has a soy wrapper, I usually get the spicy crab and shrimp roll. We also love their won tons and egg rolls.”

“I had stopped going here due to their spud had just gotten horrible but the other day I decided to try again and I have been three times since... I get the veggie spud and it is wonderful, they have started fixing it correctly again and actually giving you veggies on the baked potato/spud. Before I would get like literally five or six pieces of a mix and that was it but as of the past week I highly recommend and the staff is great and service was excellent.”
