Avoid avoid avoid. Go any other distillery. Concerned this distillery focuses on social causes rather than customer service.
Boss Lady and I saw an ad for this place while we were in Laurel MS. So, on our way back to TX, we stopped by for a taste. She doesn't drink, so it was up to me to taste their goods. It was a little frustrating at first due to several of the young people not knowing the products and not being able to inform us regarding the taste notes.
Thankfully, an attractive brunette (sorry, can't remember her name) came over and answered every question. She was very informative and helped us decide what to buy. We bought one of their Bristol gins and a chicory liquor.
The location is kinda hidden, but once you're there, it opens up and there is ample parking. We couldn't take the tour but the bar area is comfortable and warm.
Friendly hostess took her time explaining products enjoyed the tour on our anniversary. Money well spent.
I have not toured the facility but we bought the honeysuckle vodka. It is aweful! It taste like rubbing alcohol! We could not even use it in cocktail's. We will use it to clean and disinfect with though! I do not recommend this brand!
Good friends, good beer good cat head distillery
Visited the shop - very friendly and helpful staff. Their bar is open and they give tours of their operation.
Good products. Good people.
The place looks nice, but they have not restarted the tasting since COVID. Thus only the gift / bottle shop is open. This shop is okay, but we wanted to do some tastings to see if the spirits were to our liking. The person who met was very friendly etc.
Not doing tours for the time being, but the bottle shop is open. Grabbed a couple. Looking forward to trying them once I get home.

Tasting room isn't open after COVID but they still have their store open for buying on site. 3/23
Passing through on the way to Arizona from North Carolina and having had their bourbon before I had to stop att their distillery. I know your weren't going on but they have a bottle/gift shop so popped in just before they closed at 4pm and Major took care of us. Giving us a little history of their bourbon and talking through all they offered. They had very limited stock of a 13 year bourbon and their pick plus others. I ended up with their cask strength pick and man o man it is good. Would love to come back for a tour one day but keep an eye on them... They about to blow up.
Best vodka and smooth
At the Hilton Head Seafood Festival today, I tried Cathead products for the first time, and they were the best and most surprising find of the day. The young pair representing the company was also knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to converse with. Excellent people and a great product!
Tried Cathead products for the first time today at the Hilton Head Seafood Festival; and overall was the best most surprising find of the day. The young couple repping the company was also knowledgeable, welcoming and just a joy to talk to. Great product and great people!
