“We were driving from Memphis to Huntsville when the wife said "Im hungry!" She looked up what was close and we ended up at Dorothy's Place in Lamar. We were early and I think we were the first customers of the day so there was some scrambling to get the food going. We ordered a Philly Cheese and a Double Cheeseburger. The sandwiches were large and both were hot and delicious. The Philly Cheese was served on a hamburger which was a bit weird but it was still excellent. We highly recommend Dorothy's Place.“

“Remember, it’s Grand Junction, and not Nashville. It’s apparent that this cafe has been around a long time. It could use a little sprucing up. But, the food is very good, and the service was excellent. I recommend the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. So, enjoy the rustic experience and eat up. They have plenty of parking in the back.“
