Pearl’s Diner Reviews
We have enjoyed eating here every time we have been. Always hot and fresh food ! My only complaint is that some people refuse to listen to instructions and will not sit until they start taking orders. The last two times my son and I have been we have had people cut in front of us because we sat like we were supposed to and they lined up at the counter ahead of us to order after coming in after us. But the food has been great each time!!
Everything was wonderful!!! Service, staff, food. Cozy little spot with down home cooking. Friendly staff will definitely be back. Highly recommend
We have been wanting to try Mrs Pearls for years now after we saw it on HomeTown and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious Southern home cooking! Can’t wait to come back

Pearl's Diner offers a delightful taste of old Southern charm with its cozy atmosphere and mouthwatering fried chicken. The food and southern hospitality at this historic spot in downtown Laurel cannot be beat. Delicious food, generous portions, and a whole lot of southern charm can be found at this popular restaurant. Some say its fame comes from being featured on HGTV, but it's the food that truly impresses, from the crispy, juicy fried chicken to flavorful ribs, lima beans, baked sweet potato, coleslaw, and banana pudding. The restaurant also offers an all-you-can-eat buffet, which is often hot and tasty when visited. Customers consistently praise the friendly and welcoming environment, noting that the staff is very accommodating and makes guests feel at home. The fried chicken, mac & cheese, lima beans, and cornbread are highly recommended, and the portions are generous. Guests have noted that the service is impeccable, and many have had the pleasure of meeting Pearl herself, who is described as sweet and friendly. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Pearl's Diner is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Southern cuisine and warm hospitality, but be prepared for a wait as it gets busy from start to finish.
