“I was passing through and looked up restaurants nearby and Maydro’s came up. I been by there often on the way to Jackson and back and never knew about this place. Tired of fast food I wanted something different and I am sure glad I stumbled on this gem. Other reviews were about their Hamburger steak so I stopped off and ordered that to go. I got there before 7p and didn’t look busy but before I could get to the door the parking lot was filling up. I made my order and every person I met was so friendly this seemed to be a local favorite so I knew I was in for a treat. I sat down inside and it took a bit to get my order but I was relieved because I knew then it was being made to order and fresh. If you can’t wait then you’re better off getting fast food that’s been lying around for a while. When I got home I couldn’t believe how large the Hamburger steak was and covered in gravy and onions. The flavor was amazing I had leftovers for the next day. If you’re in the area on highway 25 do yourself a favor and check this place out. You’ll thank yourself later.“

“Are you in the mood for some homestyle southern food? This place is for you. While there is not a huge selection, theres definitely something on this menu thatll make you remember home and childhood from the taste alone. Actual chicken with homestyle frying methods, crinkle cut fries, a burger or chicken sandwich and soft serve for all you need. The inside is a little dull these days due to the color palette but its a soft and cozy diner so the atmosphere is nice. It definitely needs more attention than it gets and while limited on parking due to its location, it has a drive thru and makes up for it with its short wait time and tasty food. If it got a remodel or something with more vibrant and welcoming colors itd be a 5 for sure but the interior design is a bit dated on colors and layout, to me. The bathroom area is in a bit of an awkward position but its still fine. A quiet place to eat peacefully that still remains after all the time it's been there.“

“Stopped here on way back home. The food was top notch! There were 2 ladies working and was about to close on cooking. They made us feel like we were royalty! The burgers were great. Folks coming on and out and most of them acknowledged us and spoked to us. They didn't have to do that.“
