This place is the real deal. Best fried chicken and every side dish you love from the south. The peas and beans were also the star. It’s a don’t miss if you are in the area. It’s quietly world famous. And the manager sings to you as you pay your bill. What could be better than that?
I love this old place. It was my birthday Saturday and we drove 2 hours just to come see Mr. D and eat. He sang Happy Birthday to me and the meal was wonderful as always. Great customer service. Thank you for all of your hard work staff. Great job. Highly recommend stopping by. Good ole southern cooking and charm.

I need to first provide a disclaimer - it was Easter Sunday and naturally, many places were closed. I chose it because it seemed quaint and interesting, which it was. I called ahead to confirm that they were open. They were closing the dining room early, but we could get take-out. Outside there’s not much to see, but we were able to park our RV.
