“I had heard that the mermaid cafe was a nice little restaurant for the Lake Caroline neighborhood where you could get a nice hamburger. I was pleasantly surprised at my culinary experience. I had some of the best red fish that I have ever had and my friend said the same about the fillet. The only thing that exceeded the food was the courtesy from the staff. Highly recommend it“

“Two Rivers is my top 3 favorite places to get a great meal with great service. Christian is the best server in Jackson metro, hand down! The only thing this place could do better is maybe change the carpet and the decor some, just to make it a little more modern. But at the end of the day, if they don't change a thing that's fine with me. Heck, they could bring in card tables and fold up chairs as far as I'm concerned! As long as the quality of food and service stay the way they are now, my family and I will be eating there for life!“

“To be fair, I've only had one dish here but it keeps me coming back! The red beans and rice is the best in the whole metro area. I'm not even a big red beans n rice fan, but that's how good this dish is. The staff are very friendly and personable. Food comes out hot and fast. Really unique mardi-gras-style atmosphere. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.“

“Rustic but elegant. Perfect for date night. The duck wontons are the best starter. I had the grilled salmon and it was wonderful. It was flavorful and not a bit dry. The house salad with pears and blue cheese crumbles was fantastic. If we ever get back to this area, we are definitely going back and I'm definitely getting that salad. The fish tacos were really good. My hubby got the chili sauce on the side and that worked great for him. Our server was fabulous! She was so much fun! This is probably in my top 10 restaurants.“

“Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! A Peaceful, Welcoming, and Fun Environment. Great Job!! Will be returning soon. 5☆☆☆☆☆“
