Sports Bars near Madison

“I stopped for takeout. I ordered the BNB burger with fries. Order total was $15.00 because i tipped $2.00. The restaurant was about to close but my food was fresh and came quickly. The restaurant was playing old Mississippi Blues. I love the blues music. THE VERDICT. The burger was the star. It was absolutely delicious and I regretted not ordering two. The patty was large and seasoned to perfection. It was a simple burger with just onions mayo mustard etc. I had the restaurant leave off the lettuce and tomato. However the burger was so good it is my opinion they should rename it the "Now and Later" burger.. why? Because it's so good one should be purchased for 'now' and another 'to eat later'.. lol! Seriously though one bite in and I wish I had purchased another one. The fries were OK. But I don't like this type of flimsy oily fry. I prefer crinkle fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. These types of fries are weird to me and they leave bits of the potato skin on and its crunchy in places. Like I'm eating sand or something. It's just weird and not pleasant. I will admit for some reason these flimsey oily noodle fries (for lack of a better description) are popular in Mississippi and that's sad because there is much better out there. Overall I will be back for the BNB burger. It's simple and delicious and not overwhelmed by mushrooms, blue cheese, bacon, or anything else that drowns out the flavor of the BEEF. I believe at all times the beef should remain the star and the focus of the burger and this burger definitely satisfies that requirement. It's simple and delicious. The way a good burger should be. I'll be back to order another one. However next time without the fries.“

“Stopped in for dinner with the family while on a road trip, food was enjoyable though portion sizes seemed a little small compared to other Applebee's we have stopped at. Other than that the service was excellent and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing after a full day of driving.“

“I had a great time . Everything was lovely. My waitress was named Dee . He had great customer service, made us feel welcomed , he kept making sure we were ok and didn’t need anything, and suggested different things for us to try . I will most definitely go back because of him ❤️“

“The food was great. Had Jess's Mess, couldn't ask for a better, more creative appetizer. The Kyle Burger was solid. Ambiance was good, had a lot of tvs and a bar. Servers were awesome as well as the owner. The owner made sure our meal satisfied and he made sure to put a smile on our face. Going home to LA from Starkville, i thoroughly enjoyed our stop and would stop again if ever in the area!“

“I had the Quesobirria, and it's the best I've had since moving south and we've tried a lot of places, the chips and salsa were spot on, the chips were fresh out of the oil and thin, exactly what I wanted.. queso was delicious and my husband had the chimichanga with carnitas in it and was very happy with it as well.“

“Just walked in because attending an event and venue next door. Service, atmosphere, and food were great. I had fried mushrooms, shrimp Alfredo pizza, and peach margarita. My friend had loaded fries, fried shrimp, and potatoe salad. We will definitely go again when in Jackson.“

“The food was good. The salad came out at a reasonable time before the burgers. The burgers were juicy and fulfilling. The bartender Victoria was the best! She was Very attentive and made the mimosas delicious. We were able to get a seat at the bar even though there would be a table available within 10 minutes of us arriving. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere even with it being full. Other servers were also available to tend to our needs when the bartender was busy.“

“I absolutely love The Headquarters Sports Bar. Everytime my friends and I visit we have a FREAKN BALL!!! They have great food and the service is fast also. Great customer service and music. “Food was good, service was slow but friendly and attentive. The pretzel appetizer was great the beer cheese dip was good but very salty. I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo and was very happy with it. My wife ordered the 6 oz sirloin and was ok with it, it was gristly but cooked perfectly.Kid-friendliness: Multiple families with children at lunch, server was attentive and engaged the children directly. My son enjoyed being able to interact with the server and order his own food.“

“Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! A Peaceful, Welcoming, and Fun Environment. Great Job!! Will be returning soon. 5☆☆☆☆☆“

“Very surprised with the motif, all I've been hearing is this is a teenage spot. Well it's not I was very pleased with the mature crowd and the food was delicious. This place is a hang out, a bar, a lounge, a restaurant, a cigar shop, and a sports bar so whatever mood you're in this place will suit the occasion, did I mention the food is delicious. I definitely will visit again.“

“UPDATE** November 26th 2023So I'm back in town and had a choice of revisiting this location or going to the one a little bit closer to where my family lives. And I chose this location. And I'm so glad I did !! My server named Michael made sure my order went in fast and came out hot and delicious. My glass stayed full of cold beer. What more can I ask for? He's top notch and I will make this my Football Sunday go to when I'm in town. Great job B Dubs, keep it up.Asked for all flats, got drums and flats. Sauce was old, made me sick. The customer service was good!“

“The atmosphere is great, but the food is terrible. How can you mix lemon pepper wings and hot wings together? yall, I could tell the difference. Hot wings are supposed to be red and lemon pepper more season or sauce. They had they them together. I wish I had taken a pic. The price they charge for that,which I don't mind paying, they need to do better. Music was great. I have been going to last call for years, but they need to fix that. Dj was jamming all the way around. Goodnight.“
