Will not let you order food over the phone and then pick up. When you are at work at 1AM and can’t live but for a minute this sucks. I know they have done this in the past. When you can get it the foods

I started trucking in 1978 this is one of the last good truck stop restaurants. ONE big problem the truck stop it is in is under new owner and will start to charge for parking on 4/1/24 so the slow death of a good restaurant will start. I've seen this way to often. Upside locals really like this place and do a good job of keeping it full.

We were traveling to New Orleans and were ready for some home cooked southern food and Magnolia Restraurant hit the nail on the head! I had broasted fried pork chop lunch with black-eyed peas with okra. My husband had fried chicken with creamy potatoes with gravy and okra. Was large portions, reasonably priced, our waitress NW was super sweet, attentive, and charming. Food was great! Service friendly and great! We will note it as a regular place to stop.

It's a great Truck Stop restaurant that is open 24/7. Home cooking served anytime.

Limited menu has fried catfish and a Friday catfish special…it was not special! Catfish was overcooked, no lemons available, no cocktail sauce, only packaged tartar sauce. Hush puppies were BURNT, with black burn marks. Cole slaw was watery and tasteless. Only the baked potato I paid extra for was not overcooked…it was undercooked! What a disaster.

We travel so ever time we are in town we enjoy our meal there! But this time was different… we ordered to go but decided to sit down once a table became available. So after waiting 30 minutes our food was being pack to go by the cashier then another woman came and took our food and more bags of food to her customer up front. When the cashier started to go back to finish packing our food it was gone. She finally found out what happen and brought it to us so we refused because the customer had already open our plates. We ask for a fresh plate but the cashier from the front said “oh they didn’t take the plate out the restaurant” ? our cashier from the (back side door) tried to have the cooks redo our plate but that didn’t work because we saw them take the food from the old plate to give to us ???? WOW WOW CROSS CONTAMINATION . Unbelievable ………. I feel this could have been avoided if the waitress for the table we decided to sit down would have taken over the service . She didn’t even acknowledge us!!!!!! Table 9

Had the western omelet, hashbrowns, and a biscuit along with coffee for $16. The food was ok, and the service was mediocre. The hours reflected in Google are not accurate they were open early got there around 0800 sat..

We always seem to hit Meridian at lunchtime on our trips to/from Dallas -Anderson. Never found anything good enough to stop at again until this last trip. Magnolia is in a truck stop so didn't really expect great food but boy! Were we wrong ! Service was very friendly, food was quick, hot, and delicious. My SIL had the vegetable soup and it looked sooo good. She said it was. My husband and I both had the fried chicken with vegetables and I wish i had been able to eat more. We will definitely be back the next time through

Always good food, it's as close to downhome cooking as you can get in the area, I drive for a living and I always call in a order when I'm passing through..and I always get a order of"Nanner Puddin" to eat later ?

Foods OK, everything is out of the freezer or a can. Don't go in here expecting fresh food cause they dont have it. Service is fast, food comes out quick and it's OK. We stop in bout once a year and I get the country friend steak n baked tater. You want another vegi to go with it, it's extra.
