Recently back to Meridian after being gone over 20 years and had a wonderful memory reminded. The Rustler was better than it was when I lived here previously. The service was wonderful! Semes, our hostess, was beyond comparison. She was friendly, genuine, and suggested the perfect meal for me. The waiter was also helpful, courteous, and attentive. It's our special time to celebrate our events.
Last night, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at The Rustler! We had the most amazing experience! The staff was excellent, especially our server Marla!
And the food was absolutely delicious! First, we had homemade onion rings 🤤 (so good!). We had the most tender, juicy steaks- seasoned perfectly (my husband said they were almost as good as his! 😉), and the best broccoli and green beans!

The restaurant's romantic touch with candle lighting and a fireplace view adds to its charm. The menu features appetizers like fried sliced mushrooms and fried stuffed mushrooms, along with main courses such as prime rib, red snapper, and filet with crabmeat. The salad with balsamic vinaigrette is fresh, and the baked potato is served with butter and sour cream. Sautéed mushrooms and brussels sprouts add extra flavor to the meal. The staff provides friendly, knowledgeable, and warm service, making each visit special. If you seek great food and a welcoming atmosphere, The Rustler is not to be missed.
